Terms of Service

1. Who These Terms Apply To

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to all users of the JustShowMe Chrome extension, Windows desktop app, and website (justshowme.app), operated by J. Shiels, trading as JustShowMe, based in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). By installing the extension or desktop app, or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please uninstall the software and don't use the site.

2. The Service

JustShowMe provides a Chrome browser extension and a Windows desktop application. The extension lets you annotate webpages, capture full-page screenshots, and record tab video. The desktop app overlays your entire Windows screen, letting you annotate any application or content visible on your display. Both tools run locally on your machine; optional sharing integrations, which are off by default, can send a capture you choose directly to your own Notion, Linear, or Slack workspace (see our Privacy Policy). A Pro subscription unlocks additional features across both.

3. Free Tier

The Free tier is available to anyone who installs the extension from the Chrome Web Store. It requires no account and no payment. We may change what features are included in the Free tier at any time with reasonable notice.

4. Pro Subscription

Billing & Merchant of Record

Pro is billed monthly ($6/month) or annually ($48/year). Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy is the legal seller of the Pro subscription and will appear on your bank statement as LEMONSQ* ROBNstudio. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time via your billing portal or by contacting support. Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for mid-period cancellations, except where required by applicable law.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day no-questions-asked refund on any Pro subscription charge, monthly or annual. If you're not happy with Pro for any reason, email us within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund it in full.

Outside that window:

• Billing errors — if you were charged incorrectly or more than once, contact us and we will issue a full refund with no time limit.
• Anything else — if something's gone wrong or Pro isn't working for you, just reach out. We'd rather take care of you than leave you stuck, and we'll do our best to sort it.
• Free trial — the 14-day Pro trial collects no payment information. You cannot be charged during the trial. Payment details are only entered if you choose to upgrade after the trial ends.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or raise any billing issue, email support@robn.studio with your order number. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy back to your original payment method.

Licence

A Pro subscription grants one personal licence, usable on any instance of Chrome signed into your Google account. The licence is non-transferable.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use JustShowMe for any lawful purpose. You may not use the extension or desktop app to:

• Capture, annotate, or record content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Circumvent security measures or attempt to reverse-engineer the extension beyond what applicable law permits
• Use the tool to facilitate harassment, surveillance, or stalking of others
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

We have no visibility into what you annotate or capture (see our Privacy Policy), so enforcement relies on good faith. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that we become aware have been used in violation of these Terms.

6. Your Content

Screenshots, recordings, and annotations you create using JustShowMe are yours. We make no claim to them. Because your content never passes through our systems — including when you use an optional integration to share it, which sends it directly from your device to your own Notion, Linear, or Slack workspace — we have no ability to access, use, or monetise it. Content you share into a third-party service becomes subject to that service's terms and your account with them.

7. Intellectual Property

The JustShowMe extension, website, branding, and code are owned by us and protected by copyright. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the extension or any part of it. Personal use and integration into your own workflows is fine.

8. Availability and Updates

We aim for both the extension and desktop app to work reliably, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime or compatibility. Chrome updates, changes to Chrome APIs, or changes to websites you visit may affect extension functionality. Windows OS updates may affect desktop app functionality. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility across both. We may update either product at any time. Significant changes that affect Pro features will be communicated by email.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

JustShowMe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any particular feature will remain available.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of JustShowMe. Our total liability to you in any calendar year will not exceed the amount you paid us in subscription fees during that year. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence — as required by UK law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland and the wider United Kingdom. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Northern Ireland, unless applicable consumer protection law provides otherwise.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify Pro subscribers by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
